As one of the winners of the Dissertation Award 2020 of the German Society for Operations Research (Gesellschaft für Operations Research e.V., GOR), Prof. Dr. Felix Weidinger was invited to give a talk during the annual conference 2021. In his talk entitled “Order fulfillment in e-commerce warehousing: challenges and solution approaches”, Prof. Weidinger presented a selection of results from his dissertation.

The GOR is the most important scientific association for the promotion of Operations Research in Germany. Its goal is to encourage the dissemination and use of Operations Research in science and practice.
