Description
The course covers relevant problems in warehousing and delivery logistics. Quantitative optimization models are presented for the respective problems and modeling decisions are evaluated. For each problem, the complexity is analyzed. Using advanced exact as well as heuristic solution procedures, the problems are then solved. In addition to the mathematical basics, special characteristics and challenges when planning intra- as well as interlogistic processes are discussed in detail.
